If your bike features a SHIMANO STEPS e-bike system, the Edge 530 has a special screen with metrics including time, distance, speed, assist level, gear position, battery life, and remaining range. You can further customize the device with apps from Connect IQ, such as AccuWeather MinuteCast, Strava, Komoot, Wikiloc, and even Yelp listings of nearby bike shops and cafes. The Edge 530's rechargeable battery lasts up to 20 hours on a full charge. It carries an IPX7 water-resistance rating and will withstand splashes and rain.
