Time changes a lot of things, but after almost 40 years K&M has proven it can stand the test of time. Opening our doors in 1976 our first store, located in the Gramercy section of Manhattan, was a mere 800 sq feet. Talk about tiny! Since those first days, business has boomed and we have expanded several times. Our current store, located in Tribeca, is quite the improvement! Our beautiful new showroom features different areas to explore and interactive displays to check out the newest gear. The updated boutique decor offers an inviting shopping experience while our knowledgeable staff answers all your questions. We are an authorized dealer for every item we sell, which means everything we sell is backed by the manufacturer's warranty. No tricks, only genuine products that you can feel confident buying for yourself or as a gift for loved ones.
While K&M originally started as a Camera and Photography store, the way our people interact with their cameras has changed and we've changed too! K&M Camera accepts both PayPal payments and Credit Cards. PayPal is our preferred method. All PayPal payments must be made from a Verified US PayPal account, and we will only ship to the confirmed address on your payment. We cannot ship to any address you give us over the phone, email or eBay message. Please make sure you choose the correct address when you make the payment. We will not be able to change the shipping address after payment is made. If you have any questions please contact us before paying and we will be happy to help. When using PayPal we require immediate payment if using the Buy-It-Now option.
If you would like to pay with a credit card over the phone, the request must be made prior to purchasing the item. We will only ship to the billing address of the credit card.
Sometimes we need to contact you for additional verification. This may happen if your PayPal address is unconfirmed or if your credit card needs additional verification, or in other occasions. Please make sure your eBay phone number and email address are updated, and your spam filters allow emails from us.
We can only ship directly to buyers. We do not ship to freight forwarders, mail forwarders or any forwarding agent.
K&M does not offer price protection on any items. By purchasing an item you agree to the final price shown regardless of future price changes.
We make every effort to comply with our Manufacturer contracts, and as such we reserve the right to limit quantities or cancel orders to Resellers and Exporters.
Please note: Inventory will not be reserved until payment is received.
At this time K&M only offers international shipping though eBays Global Shipping Program. All eligible items will be marked as such. Orders shipped through GSP have already paid their import taxes and must contact eBay directly for any issues.
K&M strives to ship all orders within 1-2 days of payment, unless otherwise specified. We do not however, process orders Saturday and Sunday. As such, any orders that are submitted over the weekends or on holidays will be considered received the next business day. Buyers will be notified promptly of any unexpected delays.
"Free Shipping" offers are only valid for orders shipping within the 48 Contiguous United States.
Combined shipping is available by placing all kmcamera eBay orders BEFORE making the Payment. eBay's new checkout offers you to consolidate your orders to get better shipping rates.
Shipment errors due to a bad address entered by the buyer and will not be credited for shipping charges if returned, or at all if lost or abandoned by the carrier. A valid phone number is required for all orders. It is required for shipping and may be used for payment verification.
We will enter tracking information into your order as soon as it is available from the shipping carrier.
Packages of high value will require a signature upon delivery (in accordance with PayPal & Credit Card processor requirements). Please make sure you are at the ship to address to sign for the package on the day of delivery (as specified by the carrier provided tracking number).
After shipment, our carriers will make 3 attempts to deliver your package. After the third unsuccessful attempt is made, your package will automatically be sent back to us. In the event that this occurs an additional shipping charge, equal to the original shipping amount, will be deducted from your refund to cover the return shipping.
At this time we do not have a system in place that enables buyers to choose a specific carrier, and we are unable to bill 3rd party shipping accounts. We are unable to add special instructions/notes for the carrier.
We are unable to reroute a shipment after it has left our warehouse. Please ensure that your shipping address is correct in both your eBay account, and PayPal account. Please also make sure that someone is available to sign for your package at the ship-to address.
If your package was damaged during transit a claim needs to be filed with the carrier. You must keep the box and all packing material for the carrier to inspect. Please contact us if you have questions.
We reserve the right to replace any/all free gifts with an item/s of equal or greater value, based on availability. The photographs of some accessories may not reflect the actual item shipped. At times, we may substitute accessories for similar ones of equal or greater value based on availability.
All returns must be pre-approved and have an RMA# assigned to them. Please contact us through the eBay messaging system to request an RMA. You will receive the return shipping address and instructions when you are given your RMA number.
Within 30 days of delivery, eligible unopened items may be returned for a full refund minus shipping charges. In the event items purchased were offered with free shipping the cost of shipping the item will be deducted from the customers refund. If requested we will provide proof of shipping cost to the buyer. Return must be received by our warehouse within the stated time frame. At this time K&M Camera does not offer exchanges, only refunds.
Items must be in the original, undamaged manufacturer's packaging with all packaging materials, including instruction booklets, packing inserts, and the blank warranty cards. Any merchandise missing the original Universal Product Code (UPC) cannot be returned. Items that have been carefully opened are subject to a 10% restocking fee. Items that are missing packaging or have been used are subject to a 25% restocking fee. There is a 15% fee for items purchased as a bundle not being returned in their entirety.
When returning items the manufacturer's labeled packaging must be enclosed within an additional shipping carton and there should be no labels or stickers adhered to the original manufacturers packaging. Please also include the original invoice.
Items should be shipped back to K & M Camera pre-paid and fully insured. We do not accept COD or freight-collect shipments. Return shipping cost is not reimbursable and is always the responsibility of the buyer. At this time we are unable to provide return shipping labels.
Please provide us with the Tracking number for your return so that we may process it as quickly as possible. It may take up to 8 days after receipt for your return to be checked and processed. We are not responsible for returns sent without valid tracking information, and no refunds will be granted in the event a returned package is not delivered.
DAMAGED ITEMS: All packages should be inspected to ensure no damaged has occurred to the box during shipping. DO NOT SIGN for a package if it is damaged, please refuse the delivery and contact us immediately so that we may send a new package. Once you sign for an item, you are signing acceptance of the product as is. If the package is not visibly damaged but you encounter a problem with it, please notify us within 48hrs so that we may resolve the problem quickly.
We do not accept returns for the following items:
- Paper (This includes Photographic paper, Darkroom Paper, Background Paper, and Pads)
- Bulbs & Flash Tubes
- Ink Cartridges
- Memory Cards
- Open Blister Packs
- Printers (Non-Returnable once Ink or Toner has been installed)
- Underwater Equipment (Non-Returnable once used in water)
- In the event the above conditions are not met, K&M Camera reserves the right to refuse customers return.
