Enhance your upcoming songwriting and performance projects with the Arturia KeyStep Pro, a versatile and robust sequencing and performance controller. It boasts an advanced 4-part polyphonic sequencer and a responsive 3-octave velocity-sensitive keyboard equipped with aftertouch. This instrument is ideal for producers, musicians, and artists who seek to express and articulate their musical concepts through sequencing and performance.
The KeyStep Pro boasts an expanding array of modular equipment, analog synthesizers, drum machines, and software instruments, enabling seamless performance and control. It features four independent sequencers that can manage any synthesizer, module, or drum machine of your choice. Each sequencer is equipped with 16 patterns per track, with the capability of extending up to 64 steps and accommodating 16 notes per step. Additionally, you can chain up to 16 patterns together to construct an entire song or segments of a live performance. The onboard scene memory allows for the capture of all sequences within a pattern, facilitating instant transitions between different sets of sequences. All data is stored within a project, which can be loaded, duplicated, modified, edited, and saved again.
The device includes four CV, Gate, and Mod outputs, eight dedicated drum Gate outputs, clock signals, MIDI input, two MIDI outputs, a solo metronome output, and a sustain input to enhance expressiveness during performances. It also features USB connectivity for straightforward power supply and control of DAW/softsynths. For those who prefer working within a digital environment, the KeyStep Pro can easily sequence and arpeggiate virtual instruments, ensuring synchronization with your software studio. By switching to the dedicated Control mode, users can manipulate parameters in their preferred synthesizers and effects. Performing with the KeyStep Pro is both enjoyable and straightforward, offering immediate access to a range of inspiring performance features. Take advantage of multimode arpeggiators, randomness, a user-friendly chord mode, and real-time recording for spontaneous creation, all while the clear OLED displays and LED-illuminated controls provide visibility in low-light stage conditions.
