Constructed from durable cast aluminum, the AT-LP140XP is equipped with a high-torque DC motor and a balanced S-shaped tonearm. Additionally, it comes with the AT-XP3 DJ cartridge, which is pre-mounted on an AT-HS6 universal 1/2"-mount headshell.

The Audio-Technica AT-LP140XP is equipped with several advanced professional features, such as a start/stop button, options for forward and reverse playback, and a high-precision quartz-controlled pitch lock. It also offers a pitch change slider control with adjustment ranges of ±8%, ±16%, and ±24%.
