Audio-Technica AT-LP7X Manual Two-Speed Belt-Drive Turntable
Experience a polished and clear sound along with an elegant design with the AT-LP7X Manual Two-Speed Belt-Drive Turntable by Audio Technica. The AT-LP7X is equipped with a robust MDF plinth and an acrylic platter that effectively reduce unwanted resonance and vibrations, complemented by a traditionally designed J-shaped aluminum tonearm featuring a dual-axis gimbal and precision ball bearings to improve performance.
AT-LT10 Headshell & VM95 Cartridge
The turntable is equipped with the AT-LT10 headshell and the AT-VM95E cartridge, which features a 0.3 x 0.7 mil bonded elliptical stylus. This combination ensures remarkable channel separation and minimal distortion, resulting in exceptional tonal quality. Additionally, for convenient customization, the stylus can be replaced or swapped with other styli from the VM95 series, providing a diverse range of options suitable for various budgets and applications.
Vertical Tracking Angle (VTA) Adjustment
The AT-LP7X is perfect for individuals who wish to explore different cartridges. The tonearm features a VTA adjustment and a 16g subcounterweight, which permits the use of a wide variety of cartridges and headshells with a total weight of up to 23.5g. Furthermore, the AT-LP7X is equipped with a built-in switchable phono pre-amplifier, allowing for the use of MC (moving coil) cartridges as well. Moreover, a 32g subcounterweight (available for purchase separately) facilitates the use of even heavier cartridge and headshell combinations.
Reduced Vibration & Noise
The turntable features a 20mm acrylic platter that is powered by a motor monitored by an optical sensor, guaranteeing a consistently precise rotation speed of either 33-1/3 or 45 rpm. This motor is installed on rubber bushings that dampen vibrations, effectively separating it from the plinth to reduce the transmission of mechanical noise and oscillations. Additionally, an external switching power supply is utilized to isolate the AC to DC conversion, thereby preventing any electrical interference. Furthermore, the turntable is equipped with spring-based height-adjustable isolation feet that provide outstanding protection against external noise.
