Blackmagic Design SDI to HDMI 6G Mini Converter

The Blackmagic Design SDI to HDMI 6G Mini Converter facilitates the conversion of SDI signals at resolutions reaching DCI 4K (4096 x 2160) at 24 frames per second and UHD 4K (3840 x 2160) at up to 30 frames per second into HDMI format. This functionality is particularly beneficial for linking consumer devices that necessitate HDMI signals with professional SDI video systems. Its compact design and user-friendly controls make the Mini Converter suitable for a wide range of applications in broadcasting, post-production, and professional audio-visual settings.

Incorporating advanced 4K HDMI and 6G-SDI technologies, the Mini Converter automatically identifies the input video format and seamlessly transitions between SD, HD, and UHD/DCI 4K formats. It is equipped with two SDI inputs and provides both SDI and HDMI outputs. In the event of a failure in the primary SDI input, the device will automatically switch to the secondary input. Additionally, audio is extracted from the SDI input and made available through the HDMI output, as well as through AES/EBU or analog audio outputs.

• The Mini Converter's settings are controlled using the built-in switches or via USB using the control software for Max OS X or Windows computers, which can be downloaded on Blackmagic Design's website. The USB port also enables the firmware to be updated.
