It is designed to recognize the SDI start/stop commands from the camera, ensuring that recording starts and stops in sync with the camera's operation.

Single File Recording

The Blackmagic Duplicator 4K features an Append Record button, enabling users to effortlessly merge recordings from various segments of an event into one cohesive file. For instance, when capturing events with natural intervals, such as weddings that include both a ceremony and a reception at separate venues, the Blackmagic Duplicator 4K can automatically consolidate these recordings into a single file.
