The Canon CN-E 20mm T1.5 L F Cinema Prime Lens is a manual focus lens designed for both Full Frame and Super 35 sensor formats. With a maximum aperture of T1.5, it is particularly advantageous for low-light shooting and achieving a pronounced shallow depth of field. The lens is equipped with an 11-blade iris, which produces round, aesthetically pleasing out-of-focus highlights, resulting in a natural bokeh effect. Additionally, the lens barrel allows for 300° of smooth, stepless rotation from close focus to infinity, ensuring a high level of precision and consistent focus control.

The lens is equipped with standard cine lens gears and is engineered to reduce focus breathing. It incorporates advanced glass construction that mitigates barrel expansion and contraction, thereby preventing discrepancies in markings caused by temperature variations. This lens features dual focus, with indicators located on both sides of the barrel. The rear markings are positioned on an angled surface, ensuring visibility from either side of the camera. Additionally, it boasts a dust- and water-resistant housing, which helps to reduce maintenance requirements during regular operation.
