High-Resolution 360° Imaging in 8K
The innovative 1" CMOS sensor, combined with dual wide-angle lenses, provides 360° imaging while consuming minimal power. A newly developed pixel-allocation scheme enables the capture of 8K30 360° video, and the camera boasts an ultra-high dynamic range that competes with cinema cameras.
High Frame-Rate 360° Video
The sensor provides a high frame-rate 360° video that records ultra-smooth 6K60 or cinematic scenes utilizing 4x slow motion with 4K100 360° video. Slow-motion recording produces ultra-smooth, fluid visuals, allowing those breathtaking moments to be extended even further.
High-Quality Low-Light Performance
With an f/1.9 aperture that significantly enhances light intake, the image quality stays sharp and luminous, even in dim lighting, allowing you to record clear, detailed footage with top-tier quality.
Engage SuperNight mode to uncover every detail of the night, resulting in stunning nighttime visuals.
4K120 and 170° Boost Video
In single-lens mode, the Osmo 360 provides the ability to capture 4K120 video with an ultra-wide field of view of 170°. Additionally, you have the option to switch to 5K60, which offers a super-wide field of view of 155° for an alternative perspective.
120MP 360 Photos
Capture a 360° image with just one button press.
The Osmo 360 enables you to take ultra-clear 360° photographs at resolutions of up to 120MP (16K), providing razor-sharp detail and an expansive field of view.
Recording
The Osmo 360 offers a prerecording feature that can be set for durations ranging from 5 to 30 seconds, extending up to 1 to 5 minutes, ensuring that every aspect of your shot is captured.
The camera is equipped with 128GB of internal storage, enabling video recording without the need for an external card. Additionally, the storage can be expanded via the microSD slot, which supports high-speed cards with a capacity of up to 1TB, allowing for hours of high-quality recording.
Gesture Control & Voice Control
With the Osmo 360, you can use hand gestures to start and stop recording, even with gloves on, or you can choose start-only gesture control to avoid accidental stops. Voice control is also available for easy, hands-free operation.
OsmoAudio Direct Microphone Input
The Osmo 360 is designed to work with the current-generation DJI Mic products that are sold separately, enabling a direct connection to two DJI microphone transmitters for superior audio recording in scenarios involving two participants. When the Built-in Mic Audio Backup feature is activated, the camera's four integrated microphones can capture ambient sounds, enriching the atmosphere of your video.
NOTE: Direct connection to the first-generation DJI Mic is not supported.
Professional Color Profile
Both 360° and flat video modes accommodate a 10-bit color depth, while the D-Log M mode enhances the dynamic range, allowing for the retention of finer details in both highlights and shadows. These enhancements provide increased flexibility for color grading during post-production.
Osmo Magnetic Quick-Release Ecosystem
The camera is equipped with a magnetic quick-release mechanism, a 1/4"-20 mounting thread, and supports magnetic charging through the optional Battery Extension Rod accessory.
The quick-release feature allows for effortless transitions between various shooting angles and is entirely compatible with Osmo Action quick-release accessories.
Waterproof and Cold-Proof Design
The Osmo 360 camera body is designed with an IP68 waterproof rating, allowing it to be utilized at depths reaching 32.8 feet underwater. It includes a cover for the battery compartment and a cover for the USB-C port, ensuring waterproof functionality for short recordings. Additionally, the camera is engineered to capture footage for up to 1.5 hours in extreme cold conditions, down to -4°F, without the need for a protective case.
NOTE: It is recommended to utilize an optional waterproof case for long shooting durations and to avoid image distortion and light refraction with the dual fisheye lenses.
Invisible Selfie Stick Effect
When utilizing a selfie stick, you have the ability to record expansive 360° videos featuring the invisible selfie stick effect, which eliminates the stick from the footage without the need for any post-editing.
This enables you to enjoy a third-person viewpoint, as though a drone is following your movements.
Third-Party Sports Data Integration
The Osmo 360 integrates with cycling/motorcycling data recorded with Apple Watch, Garmin devices, or other third-party FIT files that can be added to your footage in a dashboard format.
Extended Operating Time
The advanced image sensor and exceptional heat management enable recording at resolutions of up to 8K30 for a duration of 100 minutes. The provided battery is compatible with the complete Osmo Action series, and when paired with the optional Battery Extension Rod, it extends the runtime by an additional 180 minutes.
The battery supports fast charging through the USB port, and if a rapid power boost is required, it can recover up to 50% of its charge in just 12 minutes of charging.
Editing and Tracking with DJI Apps
DJI Studio provides a comprehensive array of integrated tools, allowing you to edit, export, and share your creations all from a single location. With the specialized Adobe Premiere plugin, you can produce breathtaking 360° videos directly within Premiere. When the built-in Editing Assistant is activated, the Osmo 360 automatically recognizes your orientation while filming and enables you to swiftly switch to selfie view during the editing process.
DJI Mimo and DJI Studio simplify the process of locking onto and smoothly tracking individuals, vehicles, pets, and more, even within 360° footage, thanks to the DJI Intelligent Tracking algorithm. Utilizing GyroFrame in DJI Mimo, you can adjust your phone to discover and secure your preferred angle, then export your creation with just one tap.
Wireless Control and Data Transfer
Establish a connection to the camera via a smartphone or tablet utilizing either Wi-Fi or Bluetooth for purposes of control, configuration, and data transfer for editing purposes with the DJI Studio application. Data can be transferred wirelessly at rates of up to 90 MB/s, or you may opt to use the USB-C 3.1 output for data transfers to your computer at speeds reaching 600 MB/s.
Additionally, you have the option to connect a Bluetooth headset to the camera for audio monitoring, and you can use headsets equipped with a microphone to guarantee clear voice control.
360° HorizonSteady and RockSteady 3.0
HorizonSteady technology ensures that video remains smooth and stable in both 360° and single-lens modes, maintaining level shots even during significant bumps and spins.
In conjunction with RockSteady 3.0, the camera minimizes shake while preserving the dynamic essence of motion, providing an engaging first-person viewpoint.
