Elinchrom D-Lite 400W/s RX 4 Flash Head

The Elinchrom D-Lite 400W/s RX 4 Flash Head sets a new standard for lightweight, portable strobes. This auto-sensing, multi-voltage flash unit is capable of recognizing any AC power source ranging from 90-260VAC, offering power variability of up to 5.0 stops in 1/10 stop increments. With a rapid recycling time of 0.35-1.6 seconds (at 115V) and flash durations as brief as 1/800 second at full power, its performance is impressive.

The D-Lite 400W/s RX 4 is equipped with a range of professional features and conveniences typically found in more expensive flash heads. It eliminates the hassle of tripping over PC cords, as it includes a built-in EL-Skyport Receiver with eight frequency channels capable of managing four separate groups of flashes. By purchasing the EL Skyport ELS Speed Transmitter, users can trigger the flash from distances of up to 393 feet, as well as control power on/off, modeling light functions, and Speed Sync activation. Additionally, free software for both Mac and PC enhances functionality with features like Flash-Delay for strobing effects. An optional Wi-Fi module can be added to the transmitter, enabling full remote control through specially designed apps for iPhone, iPad, or iPod Touch.

The bayonet mount of the D-Lite 400W/s RX 4 is compatible with all Elinchrom accessories and softboxes up to 53 inches (135 cm). The package includes a power cord with a U.S. plug, a sync cord, a flash tube, and a protective cap. It is important to note that the included 120V 100W modeling lamp must be replaced when operating the unit in nominal 230V electrical environments.
