The Viper TTL Wireless Group Flash Trigger from hahnel is a component of the Viper Wireless Flash Trigger system that allows you to monitor and adjust the setting of up to three wirelessly grouped flash units from a single camera at distances up to 328'. The system uses the 2.4 GHz frequency and features a mini-USB port to connect flash units, for firmware updates, or for external power. There is also a 2.5mm port for standard flash connections.
To use the Viper TTL, mount it to your camera's hot shoe using the built-in hot foot connector. Then, use the three buttons on the top to toggle between up to three groups of connected lights and their settings. To test their functionality, press down on the center-located test button on the top. Looking at the rear of the unit, you'll find an LCD display for monitoring and adjusting the settings of each connected group on the fly. A thumb wheel located next to the LCD screen makes it easy to navigate the menu and select items with the button on the right-hand side of the unit. Operate your flashes in TTL, manual, or stroboscopic modes. Stroboscopic mode opens up even more creative possibilities. In this mode, connected lights will emit a series of flashes so you can capture multiple images of a moving subject in a single exposure. The Viper TTL wireless flash trigger is also compatible with second curtain and high-speed sync modes.
