Utilize the adaptable Pyro 5 Wireless Transceiver Monitor from Hollyland to transmit, receive, and oversee high-quality wireless video transmissions. The Pyro 5 enhances the previous M1 transceiver/monitor by offering a larger and improved experience, featuring a vibrant 5.5" touchscreen display, an L-series battery plate, and the capability for wireless transmission up to 1312 feet. Additionally, it supports SD card video recording, HDMI/SDI input/output, RTMP streaming, and allows one Pyro 5 to transmit to as many as four receivers, along with automatic dual-band 2.4/5 GHz hopping and auto-frequency hopping.

Broadcast Mode

The Pyro 5 incorporates wireless broadcasting technology that allows a single transmitter to connect with as many as four receivers, ensuring stable signals within a line-of-sight range. When the Broadcast mode is turned on, the transmitter is capable of sending signals to a total of four receivers. Conversely, when this mode is turned off, the transmitter can send signals to a maximum of two receivers along with two mobile devices.

Large, Bright Monitor

The Pyro 5 is equipped with a 5.5" display that boasts a brightness level of 1500 cd/m², ensuring it remains clearly visible in both bright sunlight and dimly lit settings. Additionally, the screen brightness can be adjusted to achieve optimal performance.

Versatile I/O

The Pyro 5 can function as either a transmitter or a receiver. In transmitter mode, the monitor is equipped with one HDMI input, one SDI input, and one HDMI loop output. Conversely, in receiver mode, it provides one HDMI output.

Quick Source Switching

The transceiver facilitates a smooth connection with all units in the Pyro series through a grouping preset. You have the ability to group several devices and quickly toggle monitoring between two cameras by employing two customizable buttons.

Long Transmission Range

Employing dual-band 2.4/5 GHz technology, the Pyro 5 offers a reliable line-of-sight transmission range of up to 1312' with a low transmission latency of 60ms, ensuring no image degradation. Users can select from two transmission modes: Smooth mode, which fine-tunes the transmission for minimal latency over extended distances, and HD mode, which enhances the image quality with a consistent bit rate of up to 12 Mb/s, even at distances reaching 1312'.

Auto Dual-Band Hopping & Smart Channel Selection

Utilizing Auto Dual-Band Hopping (ADH) and Auto Frequency Hopping (AFH) technologies across both 2.4 and 5 GHz bands, the Pyro 5 is capable of automatically selecting the clearest channel to facilitate dependable and seamless wireless video transmission. These technologies effectively tackle prevalent challenges such as signal interference, inadequate transmission efficiency, and frequency congestion. Additionally, the omnidirectional high-gain antennas guarantee stable signals in every direction. The Smart Channel Selection feature enables users to manually scan and switch frequencies by utilizing visual indicators of signal strength.

Efficient Proxy Recording

Proxy files can be captured directly onto an SD card or USB thumb drive during monitoring. The proxy files are systematically arranged into folders for the purpose of review or editing. These files contain timecode to enhance camera synchronization.

The Pyro 5 is equipped with an SD card slot that allows for extended MP4 video recording of up to 40 minutes in a single session when utilizing a standard external SD card. Additionally, an SD card can be employed to apply custom LUTs during the video export process. It offers file organization capabilities and facilitates a more efficient editing workflow. Furthermore, you have the option to import data from external devices and capture on-set screenshots, which can be overlaid onto the current recording screen for the purposes of scene restoration or replication.

Image Tools

The feature of custom shortcut keys, applicable for dual-view monitoring, also facilitates the rapid launching of image tools including waveform, recording, focus assist, and various other image analysis functions.
