K-Tek KE-144CCR Avalon Series Aluminum Boompole

The K-Tek KE-144CCR Avalon Series Aluminum Boompole provides a moderately priced, lightweight boompole solution for ENG, EFP and other field recording applications. Its sturdy aluminum design is tough enough to endure the rigors of road use while remaining lightweight and travel worthy. A total of 5 aluminum sections telescope between and will easily store in any standard equipment case. The captive-collett coupling system lock each section in place for even further reliability. Crafted in cost-effective aluminum tubing, Avalon boom poles are designed to meet the needs of ENG and DV Camera crews. The series offers many of the same benefits of the original Klassic boom poles in an affordable package, eliminating some deluxe features but without sacrificing any of the K-Tek quality. All poles feature the same high-reliability collars and unique "captive collet" coupling system, telescoping sections lock in place securely and easily. Factory wired models (CC or CCR) are fitted with a high-quality coiled cord inside the pole and a sturdy male XLR receptacle conveniently mounted with a bottom exit or a side exit at the base.
