Kodak VISION3 200T Color Negative Film #7213 | 16mm, 400' Roll, Single Perf
Kodak VISION3 200T represents a medium-speed tungsten-balanced color negative motion picture film that combines the refined grain characteristics typical of 100-speed emulsions with the practical sensitivity rating of a 200-speed film. This stock delivers broad exposure latitude alongside superior highlight retention, making it adaptable to diverse lighting environments ranging from intense outdoor contrast to complex mixed interior illumination scenarios. As a member of the VISION3 motion picture film family, it demonstrates superior archival longevity and proves highly compatible with contemporary digital post-production workflows.
The elimination of the Remjet layer, coupled with the addition of a process-compatible antistatic and abrasion-resistant backing layer, prevents the accumulation of unwanted particles on VISION3 200T and yields a more pristine image suitable for both scanning and printing operations. To maintain sensitometric reliability and compatibility with earlier film stocks throughout the shooting, processing, and splicing phases, VISION3 incorporates an anti-halation protective undercoat (AHU) positioned on the emulsion surface, while maintaining an acetate-based film substrate.
This product consists of a single 400-foot roll of 16mm color negative motion picture film designed for processing using ECN-2 chemistry. The film features single-edge perforation (Winding B configuration) and is supplied wound on a Type T core, suitable for in-camera recording, optical print generation, or bidirectional printing applications.
