Kodak VISION3 50D Color Negative Film #7203 | 16mm, 100' Roll, Single Perf
Kodak VISION3 50D represents a low-speed, daylight-balanced color negative motion picture film distinguished by its capacity to capture an extensive dynamic range with enhanced highlight sensitivity. Operating at an exposure index of 50 under daylight illumination, this film stock delivers exceptional image sharpness through its refined grain composition. As a member of the VISION3 motion picture film series, it demonstrates superior archival longevity and demonstrates compatibility with contemporary digital post-production workflows.
The elimination of the Remjet layer, combined with the integration of a process-compatible antistatic and abrasion-resistant backing layer, prevents the accumulation of particulate matter on VISION3 50D, thereby ensuring superior image clarity during scanning and printing operations. To maintain sensitometric uniformity and compatibility with earlier film stocks throughout acquisition, processing, and splicing procedures, VISION3 incorporates an anti-halation protective undercoat layer (AHU) positioned on the emulsion surface, while maintaining an acetate-based film substrate.
This product consists of a single 100-foot roll of 16mm color negative motion picture film designed for processing utilizing ECN-2 chemistry. The film features single-edge perforation (Winding B configuration) and is supplied wound on an R-90 spool, facilitating in-camera utilization, optical print generation, or bidirectional printing applications.
