Laowa 9mm f/2.8 Zero-D Lens | DL Mount

The Laowa 9mm f/2.8 FE Zero-D Lens from Venus Optics is a lightweight and compact wide-angle prime lens featuring a fast f/2.8 maximum aperture. This lens is specifically designed with a DL mount to be compatible with the X7 gimbal on the DJI Inspire 2 drone, making it suitable for APS-C / Super 35 sensors. Its advanced optical design minimizes distortion effectively. The lens excels in low-light conditions and, with a minimum focusing distance of 4.7 inches, it can create images with a shallow depth of field. The optical assembly incorporates three extra-low dispersion elements and two aspherical elements, which work together to mitigate chromatic and spherical aberrations, enhancing sharpness, clarity, and minimizing color fringing. Additionally, it has a 49mm front filter thread, offers a wide 113° angle of view, and weighs a mere 7.6 ounces. A petal-shaped lens hood is included to help reduce flare and ghosting.
