Traditional wet dyeing has created problems for both the environment and human health. Large amounts of chemicals and dyes are used in wet processing, wasting water and releasing dangerous chemicals into the environment. Using dope-dyed fabrics reduces greenhouse gas emissions, water usage, and chemical usage.
