LumiQuest Starter Kit

The LumiQuest Starter Kit encompasses all the essential components required to begin modifying the illumination produced by a shoe-mount flash unit. This kit includes the Pocket Bouncer, FXtra Gel Holder, eight Rosco gels, and an UltraStrap. The Pocket Bouncer is designed to soften the flash's light by reflecting it at a 90° angle and dispersing it effectively.

Additionally, the FXtra Gel Holder is available for use alongside other modifiers, allowing for the application of gels—eight of which are provided—to achieve light balancing or to create unique lighting effects. To facilitate the attachment of these components to the flash head, the kit includes the UltraStrap, which employs hook-and-loop fasteners to securely hold the accessories in place.

LumiQuest Pocket Bouncer - for Shoe Mount Flash

The LumiQuest Pocket Bouncer enhances and redirects light at a 90° angle from the flash, effectively softening the light quality and allowing for a broader distribution. Although automatic flashes do not require exposure compensation, the effective operating distances may be slightly diminished.

The Pocket Bouncer is designed to soften the output of flash light while minimizing light loss. It can be utilized with slave units or independently in situations where low ceilings are present or when a more direct yet gentle fill light is preferred. It can be easily attached to the flash head within seconds using the provided touch fastener tabs.

The UltraStrap Accessory Mounting Strap by LumiQuest is a reliable, non-adhesive solution for attaching flash accessories. Featuring touch-tabs and neoprene, this strap exerts a consistent tension of 3 lbs on the flash, ensuring a secure fit with a non-skid surface that provides stability for mounting accessories to your portable flash.
