The gray Neumann KH 80 DSP is a 2-way active studio monitor designed for near-field monitoring and multichannel configurations in music studios, broadcast facilities, and mobile setups, as well as for home studios and desktop audio applications. This model features two amplifiers (120W for the woofer and 70W for the tweeter) that drive a 4" woofer and a 1" tweeter, respectively. It is equipped with an onboard DSP engine, a Mathematically Modeled Dispersion (MMD) waveguide, an analog input, and a comprehensive selection of optional mounting hardware. The DSP capabilities can be accessed through a standard IP network connection, enabling control of the monitoring system via the Neumann.Control application, compatible with Windows/Mac computers and iOS/Android tablets. Utilizing advanced acoustic and electronic simulation and measurement technologies, the KH 80 is adaptable to various acoustic environments and compatible with a wide range of source equipment, ensuring precise sound reproduction.
