121-Point All Cross-Type Phase-Detection AF

An advanced autofocus system integrates 121 phase-detection AF points alongside 121 contrast-detection AF points, resulting in a focusing performance that is both rapid and precise. All 121 phase-detection points are cross-type, which enhances accuracy in mixed lighting environments and improves subject tracking capabilities. Various focusing modes are available to accommodate different shooting conditions, including a Group Target 25-point mode specifically designed for moving subjects such as birds and wildlife. Additionally, Face Detection and Eye Detection AF have been enhanced, and the camera now includes a newly developed Starry Sky AF mode, along with distinct AF area settings for both vertical and horizontal orientations.

5-Axis Sensor-Shift Image Stabilization

The in-body, sensor-shift image stabilization technology significantly reduces the effects of camera shake by as much as 6.5 stops, regardless of the lens being utilized. This system is particularly effective in counteracting camera movements that are more pronounced during telephoto photography, macro shots, and long exposure techniques. Moreover, this advanced stabilization mechanism operates across five axes, addressing vertical and horizontal angle rotations, horizontal and vertical shifts, as well as rolling shake. In DCI mode, a genuine 24p frame rate is utilized, whereas UHD 4K supports frame rates of up to 30p. Audio can be recorded through the integrated stereo microphone, and there is an external microphone jack for enhanced audio quality. Furthermore, a Time-lapse Movie mode is offered, allowing for recordings at resolutions up to 4K UHD.

Creative Shooting Modes
