The TG-7 enhances an already remarkable set of video capabilities by introducing several new features. The support for vertical video allows for seamless recording in vertical aspect ratios, making it ideal for vlogging and sharing on social media. The interval shooting feature permits the capture of multiple photos at intervals over a designated time frame, which is excellent for documenting action or creating time-lapses. The Pro Capture mode aids in capturing the perfect moment during an action sequence by buffering images while the shutter button is half-pressed. The TG-7 can store up to 70 images of the most recently buffered shots, both prior to and following the release of the shutter button.

Expansive Macro System

Enhance the capabilities of the TG-7's 4x optical zoom by utilizing four macro shooting modes designed for close-up photography. Choose the Microscope mode to take images with an exceptionally short minimum focusing distance of 0.39". For a zoom level of up to 44x, activate the Microscope Control mode. Employ the Focus Stacking mode to combine several images into a single photograph that exhibits a remarkable depth of field. The Focus Bracketing feature enables you to capture as many as 30 images at different focus points, which can subsequently be merged during post-production. With these macro functionalities at your fingertips, you can effortlessly capture intricate details of your subject and explore creative viewpoints that are not visible to the unaided eye.

12MP BSI CMOS Sensor & TruePic VIII Processor

Employing a 12MP BSI CMOS sensor along with the TruePic VIII image processor, the TG-7 produces stunning still images and videos characterized by vibrant colors. The sealing glass on both sides of the image sensor is treated with an antireflective coating that minimizes flaring, a common issue encountered when capturing images in environments with snow, dust, or sand. The BSI sensor features a maximum aperture of f/2, which helps to achieve superior image quality even at elevated ISO settings. To capture the utmost detail and facilitate photo editing, it is advisable to shoot in RAW format. The processor supports the recording of UHD 4K30p video as well as high-speed Full HD 1080p video at frame rates of up to 120 fps.

Keep Track While Adventuring

The Field Sensor System of the TG-7 comprises GPS, a manometer, a compass, and a thermometer, enabling you to capture essential information about your surroundings and incorporate it into your photographs and videos. You can effortlessly transfer your captured data and images to a mobile device via the integrated Wi-Fi. Besides facilitating wireless transfer, the built-in Wi-Fi also permits remote control of the camera.
