The HD PENTAX-DA645 28-45mm f/4.5 ED AW SR Lens, designed for the 645D and 645Z cameras, offers photographers a weather-resistant ultra wide-angle zoom option with a 35mm equivalent focal length ranging from 22mm to 35.5mm. This lens is equipped with the 645AF2 mount, facilitating electronic aperture control and autofocus through an internal DC motor. It maintains a constant maximum aperture of f/4.5 across its entire zoom range and incorporates extra-low dispersion glass elements to minimize chromatic aberrations and enhance sharpness.

This 28-45mm lens is both dustproof and weather-resistant, featuring a quick-shift focus system that enables users to seamlessly transition between auto and manual focus. It also includes shake reduction image stabilization, effective for approximately 3.5 stops. To further enhance image quality, HD and Aero Bright coatings are applied to reduce flare and ghosting, while a Super Protect coating on the front element helps keep the surface free from dust and smudges.

Additionally, the lens is designed with nine rounded aperture blades, which contribute to aesthetically pleasing out-of-focus areas. It features an 82mm front filter thread and is supplied with both a case and a lens hood.
