Phottix Odin II TTL Flash Trigger Transmitter for Sony Multi Interface Shoe

This device is compatible with Sony's ADI / P-TTL flash system and features a 2.4 GHz radio transmission system, enabling communication and triggering of receivers or radio-enabled flash units from distances of up to 328 feet. Additionally, it supports a multi-system configuration that includes Odin TTL, Strato, and Strato II receivers, as well as Mitros+, Indra360, and Indra 500 lights. A significant enhancement from its predecessor is the increased number of channels and the introduction of Digital ID, which provides greater control over channels 5-32, effectively reducing interference from other systems.

By utilizing TTL communication between the camera and flash, users can achieve automatic exposures effortlessly. More experienced users can leverage manual power and zoom control to achieve their desired results. The device allows for the management of five groups, enabling users to adjust different groups and flashes with distinct settings, as well as combine TTL and manual units. All functionalities are conveniently accessible via a large LCD screen, complemented by direct access buttons for group management and a rotary dial for swift adjustments. Additional features include high-speed sync for TTL flashes and the proprietary OverDrive Sync mode for manual studio strobes, both facilitating operation at shutter speeds of up to 1/8000 second. Users can also remotely control the modeling light of their Indra TTL strobes and utilize an AF assist light when necessary. Furthermore, it includes a mini-USB port for firmware updates. This model is fully compatible with Sony cameras equipped with the Multi Interface Shoe, while cameras utilizing the older Auto-Lock Accessory Shoe can achieve compatibility through an optional adapter.
