The ProMaster Specialist R19RGB light offers numerous advantages typical of a ring light, such as minimizing shadows, delivering soft illumination, and creating aesthetically pleasing round catchlights in the eyes of the subject. This 19-inch ring light provides an output power of 1,050 lux at a distance of 3 feet, and its 120-degree beam angle effectively disperses light across a wide area. In bi-color mode, the color temperature can be adjusted from a warm 3200K to a cooler 5600K. The Specialist R19RGB features impressive CRI and TLCI ratings of 98+, which guarantee precise color reproduction for achieving natural skin tones. In RGB mode, users can choose from 360 different hues, with options to modify saturation and brightness to achieve the desired effect. Additionally, ten unique special effects are available, allowing videographers to customize each effect's brightness, saturation, and speed for enhanced creative video production.
A wireless remote control is included, providing access to all modes and settings of the light, complete with a user-friendly LCD display. This remote can manage up to 100 channels, enabling the control of multiple lights with distinct configurations. A master channel feature allows for simultaneous adjustment of all connected lights to uniform settings.
The kit comes with a lengthy AC cable, and the light can also be powered wirelessly using two optional NP-F type batteries, which are sold separately. A robust adjustable camera bracket facilitates the secure positioning of a DSLR or mirrorless camera at the center of the light. Content creators have the option to mount smartphones on the bracket or on one of five cold shoes using the included phone clamp. An integrated USB-A port allows for smartphone charging while in use with the Specialist R19RGB. Additionally, the kit includes a fabric storage bag and two handles that can be attached to the back of the light for easier transport and positioning.
