The Profoto Connect Wireless Transmitter for Nikon cameras enables a wireless link with AirTTL lights, facilitating control over flash synchronization, remote operation, Auto TTL, and High-Speed Sync (HSS). This transmitter also manages flash sync and remote functions for Air lights. It features three distinct settings. The first, Auto, eliminates the uncertainty involved in configuring your flashes. For those seeking a more hands-on approach, the manual setting allows for personalized adjustments to the flashes, fostering creativity. The final option is to deactivate the transmitter when it is not in operation.

By utilizing the Profoto Camera or Profoto Control applications and establishing a Bluetooth connection, users can manage their lighting equipment wirelessly and subsequently update their firmware through the app. The Connect operates at a frequency of 2.4 GHz, offering up to eight channels with an operational range of 1000 feet when paired with standard sync flash and remote control, and 330 feet when using Auto TTL and HSS. The integrated lithium-ion polymer battery provides a lifespan of 30 hours and can be recharged using the supplied USB cable. Furthermore, the transmitter automatically powers down after 60 minutes of inactivity.
