The Rokinon 12mm f/2.8 ED AS IF NCS UMC Fisheye Lens, designed for Sony E Mount cameras, offers a 180° diagonal field of view on full-frame models, delivering an ultra-wide angle and a distinctive distorted perspective. This lens boasts a sophisticated optical configuration comprising 12 elements organized into 8 groups, which includes three low dispersion ED glass elements and two aspherical elements aimed at minimizing coma and chromatic aberrations. The application of advanced nanocrystal anti-reflection (NCS) coating, in conjunction with UMC coatings, enhances light transmission and mitigates ghosting effects. Additionally, its internal focusing mechanism contributes to a compact design, preventing the front element from extending during focusing.
