The Rokinon 50mm f/1.4 AS IF UMC Lens for Sony E-Mount presents a standard 50mm focal length suitable for full-frame cameras, featuring a rapid f/1.4 maximum aperture that enhances performance in low-light conditions, facilitates fast shutter speed photography, and allows for precise control over shallow depth of field. When mounted on an APS-C format sensor camera, it provides a 35mm equivalent focal length of 75mm.

This lens is constructed with an optical design comprising 9 elements arranged in 6 groups, which includes one hybrid aspherical element and one aspherical element aimed at minimizing chromatic aberrations. Additionally, the lens elements are treated with an Ultra Multi-Coating to enhance light transmission while reducing flare and ghosting effects. The eight diaphragm blades form a circular aperture, contributing to aesthetically pleasing out-of-focus highlights.

Designed for manual focus and aperture control, the lens features a broad, rubberized focus ring along with clearly marked aperture, distance, and depth of field indicators.
