Rokinon 16mm T2.2 Cine DS Lens for Nikon F Mount for APS-C

For those utilizing mirrorless cameras or requiring coverage for a Super35 sized sensor, the Rokinon 16mm T2.2 Cine DS Lens employs a multi-layer coating technique to ensure uniform color reproduction across different lenses. This consistent coating addresses the challenge of gradually assembling a cohesive set of lenses. The lens is available in a Nikon F mount and is equipped with industry-standard geared focus and iris rings, which align with the positioning of other Rokinon Cine DS lenses.

To assist focus pullers working from both sides of the lens, the aperture and focus scales are clearly marked on either side. Additionally, a removable petal-shaped lens hood offers protection against flare when shooting without a matte box, and the lens features a threaded front that accommodates 77mm filter rings.

• This 16mm lens produces 83.1° angle of view when used with a camera with an APS-C sensor. Hybrid aspherical lenses render sharply defined images with a minimum of distortion and chromatic aberrations and feature a minimum focus distance of 7.9"' from the lens.

• The lens features an internal focus mechanism, so the front of the lens doesn't rotate when changing focus, allowing you to use filters and clip-on matte boxes without vignetting as you change (pull) focus.
  
  
• The lens features an 8-bladed iris that provides round out-of-focus highlights and a natural-looking Bokeh. The declicked aperture ring allows for smooth iris pulls.
