The Rokinon 16mm T2.6 Full-Frame Cine DS Lens for Canon EF Mount has been meticulously engineered to address the difficulties associated with assembling a set of lenses over time. It incorporates a multilayer coating process that ensures consistent color rendering across different lenses. The lens features industry-standard geared focus and iris rings that are positioned identically to those of other Cine DS lenses, thereby eliminating the need to readjust a matte box, follow focus, or any other accessory when changing lenses. When paired with a full-frame sensor camera, this 16mm lens offers an impressive super-wide angle of view at 106.9°.

The hybrid aspherical elements of the Cine DS primes deliver sharply defined images while minimizing distortion and chromatic aberrations, with a minimum focus distance of 11.8 inches from the lens. To facilitate collaboration with an assistant, the Cine DS primes are equipped with focus and T-stop scales on both sides of the lens barrel.
