The Concert 288 Dual-Channel Wireless Handheld Microphone System with Q6 Capsules | Band H from Samson presents a high-performance UHF wireless solution designed for scenarios requiring mobility for two performers at once. This system is ideal for pairs of singers, business professionals, educators, and others seeking clear audio and flexibility without the constraints of cables.
The frequency-agile Concert 288 supports the simultaneous operation of up to 20 systems (40 performers) across two frequency bands. It offers both performers a wireless range of 300 feet between the transmitters and receiver, making it well-suited for large venues and audience engagement. To ensure a seamless performance free from interference, the Concert 288 incorporates a true-diversity design. In the event of a dropout, the receiver’s Tone Key and Auto Mute features effectively eliminate any background noise until the signal is restored.
The CR288 Wireless Receiver is equipped with a user-friendly front panel that facilitates quick and straightforward setup. It includes two Select buttons for automatically syncing the receiver and transmitter channels via infrared signal, enabling users to identify their optimal channel. The panel also features a dual seven-segment LED display for operating channels, two volume controls, two tuned antennas, and indicators for Ready and Peak status to ensure optimal functionality and monitoring. On the rear, the receiver is fitted with two separate balanced XLR outputs for routing signals to distinct channels on a mixer, as well as a 1/4” unbalanced mix output that combines both signals into a single channel for direct connection to a PA speaker (not included).
The Concert 288 Handheld System includes two CH288 handheld wireless transmitters equipped with Q6 dynamic, supercardioid microphone capsules. These transmitters are designed to operate for up to eight hours on two AA batteries each, providing exceptional sound reproduction quality.
