The LiteMaster Pro L-478DR-U-EL Series Light Meter from Sekonic is equipped with a large, user-friendly 2.7" color touchscreen LCD. It now includes integrated radio flash power control and triggering capabilities for the 2.4 GHz Elinchrom EL Skyport wireless system, simplifying the process of incident metering for both ambient and flash light. This system's key feature allows for precise control of flash power in 0.1-step increments. Additionally, the 20-channel system offers distinct selection among 4 groups, with measured values preserved for ratio calculations. Users can also manage modeling lamp power and adjust all groups simultaneously.

The L-478 light meter series is distinguished by its large color touchscreen, which facilitates rapid adjustments for both ambient and flash metering settings. This meter demonstrates impressive capabilities, operating within a range of -2 to 22.9 EV at ISO 100. Additionally, for contemporary hybrid shooters, this model enhances its standard still photography functions by incorporating two specific video modes: Cine and HD Cine. These modes provide options for frame rate selection ranging from 1 to 1,000 fps, as well as shutter angle settings from 1 to 358°, and ISO 850 compatibility for Canon cinema cameras.

To ensure optimal performance, the device is equipped with a comprehensive array of functions and features designed to provide users with the best tools at their disposal. Among these is a flash analysis function that allows for simultaneous use of ambient and flash light, enabling photographers to fine-tune their preferred lighting mix. Furthermore, with the included Data Transfer Software, users can perform Exposure Profiling for their camera using the optional 5° viewfinder, which displays dynamic range limits and ensures accurate exposure. Complementing this is a Filtration Compensation Mode that enables the meter to adjust for filter factors, accommodating up to 12 EV for landscape photographers utilizing high-density ND filters.
