SmallRig Cooling System for Select Sony/Canon/FUJIFILM Cameras

To prevent overheating while shooting high-resolution, high-frame-rate video, it is advisable to cool down your Sony, FUJIFILM, or Canon mirrorless camera using this Cooling System from SmallRig. This compact cooling fan can be mounted with the provided frame specifically designed for the appropriate camera model onto the back LCD screen of the camera. It is compatible with a variety of models including the Sony a7C, FX3, ZV-E1, ZV-E10, a7 IV, ZV-1, ZV-1F, a7S III, a7C II, a7CR, a6700, and FX30; as well as the Canon EOS R8, R7, EOS R10, EOS R6, EOS R5, EOS R50, and EOS 70D; and the FUJIFILM X-T4 cameras, with plans for compatibility to increase in the future.

The cooling system operates using a USB-C 5V power input along with the included cable, and it can draw power from a separately available SmallRig V-mount battery or plate. It effectively cools the camera during high-resolution video recording, such as XAVC HS 4K60 with a Sony ZV-E1, maintaining temperatures up to 77°F without triggering an overheating shutdown. In extreme conditions reaching up to 104°F, the system can support camera operation for up to 18 minutes before a shutdown becomes necessary. The fan is designed to operate with minimal noise and includes built-in safeguards against overheating, short circuits, and overvoltage situations.
