Enhance your wireless flash and camera configuration with the FA-WRR1 Wireless Radio Receiver from Sony. This receiver is equipped with a Multi Interface Shoe on its top, allowing it to directly support most Sony-compatible flash units. It is also capable of functioning in manual mode with flashes that utilize the Auto-lock Accessory Terminal when paired with an adapter. To achieve full functionality, a flash featuring the Multi Interface Shoe is necessary, as it enables TTL and High-Speed Sync support, along with all remote control capabilities via the FA-WRC1M Wireless Radio Controller or a compatible radio-equipped commander flash. The system operates on a 2.4 GHz radio signal, ensuring reliable performance with a range of up to 98.4 feet. It can function on one of 14 channels and manage up to 5 groups.
Beyond flash connectivity, the receiver includes a standard PC sync terminal for linking to alternative strobes and lighting equipment. Additionally, it features a Multi Terminal connection for remote triggering of select cameras, which requires the separately sold VMC-MM1 Multi Terminal. For securing the flash setup to a stand, the receiver is designed with a cold foot at the base that includes a 1/4"-20 thread. Furthermore, it is resistant to dust and moisture, making it suitable for use in challenging environments.
