This unit is designed to work with Sony's Multi Interface Shoe and does not directly support the older Sony/Minolta Auto-Lock Accessory Shoe. However, by utilizing the provided ADP-AMA Shoe Adapter, Sony cameras equipped with the Auto-Lock Accessory Shoe can be modified to fully accommodate Multi Interface Shoe external flashes.
