This 82mm Tiffen ND Filter is a robust neutral density filter featuring a filter factor of 2x, which results in a 1-stop reduction in exposure. Its 0.3 density uniformly darkens the image, enabling you to shoot with a wider aperture or a slower shutter speed than typically necessary. By extending your exposure time or enlarging your aperture, you gain greater control over depth of field and can more effectively express movement. Neutral density filters maintain the original coloration of the image and are perfect for use alongside other filters.

This filter is made using ColorCore technology, a process that involves laminating the filter substrate between 2 pieces of optical glass, grinding flat to a tolerance of 1/10,000th of an inch, and then mounting to precision metal rings.
