The Canon Sure Shot 150U Date is a compact fully automatic 35mm point-and-shoot camera introduced in 2004. Its versatile 38–150mm f/5.6–11.3 4× zoom lens provides substantially more telephoto reach than typical fixed-lens compact cameras. The passive AiAF system automatically selects focusing points while the Program AE system handles exposure, making the camera extremely straightforward to operate. A built-in Light Guide zoom flash provides automatic illumination and red-eye reduction for low-light photography. The Date model can imprint the date and time directly onto photographs, with the system programmed for dates from 2004 through 2050. At only 200 g and 107 × 58.7 × 51.5 mm, the 150U Date is a highly portable option for everyday film photography and travel
