The Hasselblad H4X is a highly versatile modular medium-format camera designed as a bridge between Hasselblad's film and digital systems. Unlike the X1D II 50C, the H4X does not have a built-in image sensor and requires either a digital back or film magazine to capture images. Its True Focus system and Absolute Position Lock technology provide advanced autofocus capabilities, while HC and HCD lenses use integrated leaf shutters for flash synchronization at virtually any shutter speed up to 1/800 second. The camera can use Hasselblad HM 16–32 film magazines as well as CF/CFH digital backs and certain third-party backs. Its interchangeable viewfinder system makes it adaptable for traditional film photography or high-resolution digital medium-format workflows.
