Used Mamiya RZ67 50mm F/4.5 W | Black | U8

The Mamiya Sekor Z 50mm f/4.5 W is a premium wide-angle prime lens engineered specifically for the iconic Mamiya RZ67 medium format roll-film system. Constructed with an 11-element design, it is widely celebrated for producing massive, highly detailed 6x7cm negatives boasting exceptional edge-to-edge sharpness and minimal geometric distortion. The lens features an integrated electronic Seiko leaf shutter that grants studio photographers the immense benefit of full flash synchronization at speeds maxing out at 1/400s. Because it relies entirely on the RZ67 body’s mechanical bellows rails for focusing, the optical chassis remains highly reliable while unlocking dramatic close-up capabilities. Ultimately, this robust wide-angle optic serves as an indispensable tool for medium format enthusiasts specializing in expansive architecture, commercial studio production, and sweeping landscape photography.
