The Minolta Weathermatic Dual 35 is a rugged waterproof 35mm point-and-shoot camera introduced by Minolta in the late 1980s for outdoor and underwater photography. Its bright yellow weather-sealed body was designed to float and remain waterproof down to approximately 5 meters, making it popular for beach, boating, and diving use. The camera features a unique electronically switched dual-lens system that allows users to alternate between a 35mm f/3.5 wide-angle lens and a 50mm f/5.6 standard lens. Fully automatic operation includes autofocus, motorized film advance, built-in flash, DX-coded film detection, and programmed auto exposure for simple point-and-shoot usability.
