Used Nikon Nikkor Q 135mm F/2.8 Lens | U8

The Nikon Nikkor-Q Auto 135mm f/2.8 is a classic, manual-focus vintage telephoto lens produced from the mid-1960s to the 1970s for Nikon’s historic F-mount camera system. As designated by the letter "Q" (quattro), it features a minimalist four-element optical formula that photojournalists and portraitists highly value for delivering a distinctive "3D" subject pop, rich color saturation, and a signature soft skin glow. Encased in a beautifully crafted, all-metal housing, the lens tips the scales at approximately 600 grams and is equipped with a smooth 270-degree mechanical focus ring and a convenient, built-in retractable lens hood. Because it was originally released as a "Non-AI" lens, adapting it to professional modern digital SLRs sometimes requires a physical aperture ring modification, though it easily mounts onto modern mirrorless bodies via a standard glassless adapter.
