The Pentax 645N is a medium format autofocus SLR introduced in 1997 that brought modern handling and automation to the 6×4.5 film format. Designed with ergonomics similar to a large professional DSLR, the camera features integrated motorized film advance, autofocus capability, automatic exposure modes, and a built-in grip for comfortable handheld shooting. It uses 120 or 220 roll film to produce large negatives with significantly greater detail and tonal range than standard 35mm film cameras.
