Used Pentax Asahi 28mm F/3.5 | M42 | U8

The Asahi Pentax 28mm f/3.5 is a compact vintage wide-angle lens suited to street photography, landscapes, travel, and everyday shooting. Its 28mm focal length captures a broad view without the exaggerated perspective of an ultra-wide lens. The maximum f/3.5 aperture is practical for daylight photography, while the manual aperture and focus rings provide direct control over exposure and composition. Pentax's Super-Multi-Coating helps maintain contrast and manage reflections when shooting in challenging light. Its small size and light weight make it easy to carry on a film camera for long walks or travel. With a minimum focusing distance of 30cm, it can also capture closer subjects while retaining a sense of the surrounding environment.
