Used Rollei 35B | Black | U7

The Rollei 35B (originally introduced as the B35) is a highly pocketable, fully mechanical 35mm viewfinder camera designed as an accessible alternative within Rollei's iconic ultra-compact lineup. By exchanging the complex electronics and premium glass of the original flagship for a battery-free selenium light meter and a simpler triplet Triotar lens, this model offered enthusiast photographers an exceptionally lightweight travel companion. The camera is celebrated for its quirky layout, which includes front-mounted control rings, a left-handed film advance lever, and a flash hot shoe uniquely placed on the bottom plate. Today, it remains highly sought after by analog street photographers and collectors who appreciate pure, mechanical engineering that can easily slip into a coat pocket. Because its leaf shutter and lens extension mechanism operate without any power source, a well-maintained 35B stands as a timeless tool for mastering the core fundamentals of film photography.
