The Sony RX10 is a premium bridge camera built around a large 1-inch sensor and an exceptionally versatile 24–200mm equivalent ZEISS Vario-Sonnar T* lens. Its biggest advantage is the constant f/2.8 aperture, giving it considerably better low-light capability and subject separation than typical superzoom cameras. The 20.2MP Exmor R sensor produces detailed still images while also supporting RAW capture and Full HD video. Optical SteadyShot, a fast 10 fps burst rate, and a built-in electronic viewfinder make it particularly useful for travel, documentary, street, and event photography. The weather-resistant body and integrated lens also make it a practical run-and-gun camera where changing lenses isn't desirable. For a 2013 fixed-lens camera, the original RX10 remains surprisingly capable because of its combination of a fast constant-aperture zoom, large sensor, and robust controls.
