The Westcott 43" Apollo Orb Speedlite Kit offers an excellent solution for transforming your studio strobe, speedlite, or hot light (with a maximum power of 500W) into an ideal lighting source for portrait photography.

Wescott's Apollo Orb represents the inaugural octagonal softbox designed to function without the need for an adapter ring. This compact softbox conveniently opens in a manner similar to an umbrella. Simply insert your flash, attach the provided diffusion panel, and you are prepared to begin shooting. The Orb features a deeper profile that ensures an even distribution of the light source for optimal output, while also producing round, natural catchlights in the subject's eyes. For enhanced directional control and to minimize lens flare, the diffuser can be positioned closer to the light source than its default setting. The kit comprises the Orb, an 8.0-foot light stand, and a stand mount equipped with a shoe mount for speedlites.
