The ZEISS Loxia 21mm f/2.8 is a sophisticated wide-angle prime lens that merges a broad field of view with a compact design, specifically crafted for full-frame Sony E-mount mirrorless cameras. Utilizing the Distagon optical design, this lens incorporates four anomalous partial dispersion elements alongside one aspherical element, significantly reducing chromatic and spherical aberrations, thereby enhancing color accuracy, sharpness, and overall clarity. To combat flare and ghosting, an advanced ZEISS T* anti-reflective coating has been applied, making it advantageous for use in challenging lighting situations.

Loxia-series lenses are notable for their manual focus functionality and a manual aperture ring that can be de-clicked for silent adjustments, rendering them particularly well-suited for filmmaking.
