The CRANE-M2 S 3-Axis Handheld Gimbal Stabilizer Combo Kit from Zhiyun-Tech is a more compact and lightweight version of its predecessor, offering enhanced power to accommodate compact cameras, smartphones, and action cameras weighing up to 2.2 lb. The M2 S incorporates all the excellent features of the M2 while introducing additional functionalities, such as an increased payload capacity, extended battery life, PD fast charging capability, a more compact handgrip, an elegant two-tone design, Bluetooth 5 compatibility, a reengineered quick release camera plate, and an integrated LED light. This combo kit also comes with a smartphone clamp, an upgraded mini tripod, and a TransMount EasyGo Backpack.

The CRANE-M2 S provides comprehensive rotational capabilities with 360° pan, 320° tilt, and 320° roll across six operational modes, including Point of View (POV) and Vortex modes. It boasts a runtime of approximately 10.5 hours on a rechargeable built-in battery, which can be charged using the included cable. When connected via a wired interface, the gimbal can supply power to a compatible camera and facilitate control over its zoom, shutter, and video recording functions. Additionally, users can manage gimbal movements through the ZY Play mobile application, available for both iOS and Android, which offers remote access to various gimbal functions and filmmaking options such as time-lapse, panorama, and slow-motion recording.

The CRANE-M2 S is equipped with a quick-release camera mounting system that allows for effortless attachment or detachment of the camera with a single lock button. Scale markings and memory locks assist in achieving the proper balance for the camera and securing that balance position for future use. Furthermore, the integrated fill light, positioned next to the camera plate, features a Color Rendering Index (CRI) of 90+, delivers a brightness of 1000 lumens, and offers five adjustable brightness levels, along with four interchangeable filters to modify the color temperature.

Six Modes of Operation

• PF Mode: The camera pans as you turn the gimbal left and right. This feature is useful for hyperlapse capture and traveler footage.
  
  
• F Mode: The camera will follow the gimbal handle's movements.
  
  
• L Mode: The camera direction is locked, so you won't miss a shot in any situation.
  
  
• POV Mode: The CRANE-M2 S offers full-range POV mode, which allows for 360° synchronous movement on all three axes. Instead of leveling off during motion, the camera will remain locked in position no matter which way or how far you move the gimbal, allowing for true POV shots.
  
  
• Vortex Mode: Vortex mode gives you the freedom to perform cinematic 360° barrel shots in all dimensions.
