Zoom A1 FOUR Multi-Effects Processor

The A1 Four from Zoom is an innovative multi-effects processor specifically engineered for acoustic string and wind instruments, designed to enhance the performance of your acoustic instruments. It features 80 premium effects, including 35 tailored for acoustic instruments, along with an advanced acoustic guitar emulation engine that utilizes specially recorded impulse responses (IRs) to authentically transform your guitar tones. You can utilize and arrange up to five simultaneous 32-bit effects in any sequence across 50 customizable patches. Additionally, it offers 68 rhythm patterns, a chromatic tuner, and a robust internal looper capable of storing loops of up to 30 seconds, providing a comprehensive toolkit to unleash your creative potential. 

The device includes a 1/4" output that merges line amp and headphone outputs, facilitating easy connections to a PA system, guitar amplifier, or high-powered headphones, supporting 17mW per channel into a 32-ohm load. An additional USB Micro-B connection allows for powering the pedal, provides MIDI I/O, and enables connectivity to the free Guitar Lab software for effect and patch creation and editing. Furthermore, the A1 Four can operate on four AA alkaline batteries, offering up to 18 hours of portable use. It also comes with the MAA-1 Mic Amp, simplifying the connection of dynamic and phantom-powered condenser microphones to the processor.

With 15 factory presets available, along with an additional 13 free downloads from Guitar Lab, you can easily select your desired AG MODEL, such as the D-28, and instantly replicate the distinctive sound profile of that iconic body shape. Each AG MODEL offers four adjustable parameters (gain, bass, mid, treble) to manage volume and fine-tune the audio output of your modeled sound. Additionally, you can configure the AG Pickup Selector to correspond with your guitar's pickup type (piezo or magnetic) and apply a specific EQ modeled after various specialized processors.

Efficient Connectivity

The A1 Four sports a straightforward yet adaptable I/O system capable of accommodating various scenarios without adding bulk to the pedal. It features a simple 1/4" line input for easy connection, and a combined 1/4" line and headphone output that allows seamless connectivity to high-powered, studio-quality headphones or amplifiers. Additionally, a stereo 3.5mm aux input enables playback of music from a smart device, facilitating play-along sessions or matching your instrument's tone to tracks prior to recording. The micro-USB port provides the option to connect the pedal to a wall adapter for power when batteries are unnecessary, and it also supports MIDI processing, firmware updates, and connection to Guitar Lab for access to 13 additional modeled acoustic guitar presets, as well as the ability to create and modify effects.
