Secure the provided lavalier microphone to your subject using the included mic clip, and then connect the cable equipped with a 3.5mm plug to the input of the F2. The locking mechanism ensures that the connection remains secure and prevents accidental disconnections. The microphone features an omnidirectional polar pattern, which allows for uniform audio capture from all angles, ensuring reliable voice recording even when the subject moves their head or the microphone is repositioned. Additionally, three windscreens are included to effectively minimize light wind noise.

In order to maintain the demands of on-location production, the F2 can be powered by two AAA alkaline, Lithium, or NiMH rechargeable batteries, a Zoom AD-17 power adapter (sold separately), or a USB Type-C battery pack (also sold separately). With a maximum run time of 15 hours when using AAA batteries, the F2 is well-suited for all-day shooting sessions.

USB File Transfers and Settings Editor

The F2 Editor enables users to modify settings, format SD cards, and perform additional functions directly from their Mac or Windows computer. With the inclusion of a USB Type-C port on the F2, you can effortlessly connect it to your computer using a USB cable (sold separately) and initiate the editor.
