The Zoom G3n is a multi-effects processor crafted to offer a wide array of sonic options for electric guitarists, featuring 68 distinct effects, with the capability to utilize up to seven at once. Additionally, it includes five amp and cabinet emulations designed to faithfully reproduce the sound characteristics of iconic setups, encompassing the tonal profiles of brands from Marshall to Bogner.
The device features three footswitches that enable the activation of effects, all of which can be modified through three distinct LCD screens. Each screen is equipped with four specific parameter controls that vary according to the selected effect. Additionally, the pedal includes three more foot controls at the bottom: two scroll pedals for navigating through banks and a third control for tap-tempo and tuner adjustments. Furthermore, an 80-second phrase looper is provided to accommodate all your looping requirements.
This pedal features both instrument and auxiliary inputs, along with an output section that includes a mono 1/4" output and a stereo 1/4" output. This setup is advantageous for monitoring through headphones, applying stereo effects, or directing stereo signals to interfaces, PAs, mixers, and recording devices. Additionally, a controller input is available for connecting compatible expression control pedals, such as the FP02M. Measuring 7.1 x 9.2 x 2.3 inches, the G3n is compact enough for easy transport between performances, and at a weight of 2.8 pounds, it is light enough to be effortlessly carried. This pedal allows for the straightforward replacement or enhancement of your current pedalboard.
